New Sierra store brings great deals for active lifestyles to Sioux City

Sierra just opened a brand-new location in Sioux City on September 14th, 2024! This exciting brand is bringing fantastic deals on outdoor gear and other things active families want and need and I'm excited to share all about it in this sponsored post. Sierra is a new discount outdoors store from the same parent company as TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. Sierra features high quality apparel and gear for all kinds of adventures, like hiking, watersports, and camping. They also have pet care items, home decor, toys, and other surprise finds that are perfect for outdoorsy families. Expect top brands and quality for great prices at Sierra!

Where is the Sioux City Sierra store?

The Sierra store in Sioux City is located at 5751 Sunnybrook Drive, Sioux City, IA 51106. There is free parking in the lot that Sierra shares with Marshall's and Ulta. If you're travelling, there are dozens of other Sierra stores in more than 30 states around the US!

Apparel at Sioux City Sierra

One of the main things you'll find at the Sioux City Sierra store is apparel for all ages. At their grand opening, they had tons of cute clothes for babies, toddlers, kids, and adults. I couldn't resist this gold pullover. How perfect for Chiefs + Iowa fan fun! I also noticed athletic pants, tops, undies, pajamas and outerwear. The brands vary of course, but on this trip, I personally spotted tons of other amazing brands that I already know and love, plus some new-to-me brands I'm excited to try out. In particular Sierra had a really nice selection of coats and jackets during this fall visit. I loved this sweet floral toddler sized rain suit perfect for playing on a drizzly or muddy day: 

Footwear at Sioux City Sierra

There's also a fantastic selection of footwear at the Sioux City Sierra store, with options for all ages. I feel like this is going to be especially awesome for boots,whether rainboots go with that cute rain suit, or snow boots for fun in Sioux City winters. 

We found a pair of pink hiking shoes perfect for my daughter, on a huge discount and from a brand we know and trust. I will for sure be back to Sierra next time I need shoes or boots for kids or myself.

Gear at Sioux City Sierra

Sierra has so much great gear for all kinds of active fun. They have a small selection of sporting goods like pickleball paddles, socker balls, and baseball gloves, and even more so gear for outdoorsy and adventure sports, so look for things like hiking, fishing, hunting, archery, snowboarding, skiing, camping, kayaking, and BMX cycling. Whatever your favorite way is to get active outside, they probably have some great gear to do it with. They even had a kayak, which I recognized as the same brand kayak I always borrow from the lodge when I go to my favorite lake resort in Minnesota! 

Toys at Sierra in Sioux City

Sierra has a small but nice selection of toys at great prices. Some of them were outdoors like mini camp tents and archery toys, and some were just fun like toy food set and coloring sets. While it's not the main focus of the store, it was a cute little assortment, and my kids spotted several things they wanted to add to their Christmas lists.

Home goods and seasonal decor at the Sioux City Sierra

The Sioux City Sierra store has an adorable selection of home decor, especially the seasonal items. I thought this candy corn garland was adorable and will probably have to go back and buy it, because I can't stop thinking about it!

There were tons of throw pillows, cozy blankets, candles, and kitchen items like towels and pots and pans. The ones I looked at more closely all looked high quality for good prices. I'm excited to come back throughout the year and see the updates as the seasons change!

Pet care items at the Sioux City Sierra

Pets are a big part of many active families, and Sierra helps make sure they're well cared for, with treats, pet beds, Halloween costumes for pets, and more. We even saw a cute goldendoodle shopping with his person when we were in.

For more information about Sierra, visit the Sierra website. They have an even wider selection of items there with free site to store shipping, and free in-store returns. This is awesome because it is truly going to give us access in Sioux City to items that aren't otherwise available in town, with free shipping and an easy way to return them if necessary.

For example, I found some really nice life jackets that have been on my bucket list for a while, but that aren't available in store anywhere in Sioux City. I had just keep hesitating to buy one from other stores that don't have a Sioux City location. I didn't want to have to buy it and then have a complicated return if it doesn't fit!

But Sierra.com has them, for a great price, and if it the one I order doesn't fit well, I can easily return it to our new Sierra store in Sioux City. And if it does fit? Well, then I might need to get a kayak from Sierra next.
