Big announcement: from now on, I will be posting exclusively about the toilets of Siouxland. As I looked back at my old posts, I realized that one of my most popular posts ever was one from 2020 about finding toilet paper, and I thought, hey, I need to give the people what they really want: more toilet related content. So, I am going to try to review every public restroom in Siouxland and bring you the toilet talk you want and need. To kick it off, here is what I'm sure will be my very most popular post ever: the ultimate guide to the best toilets in Siouxland.
This post is just the start of all the new toilet related content, so as I write in-depth reviews of the bathrooms here, I will be sure to link them. Please let me know what features you'd like to see included, like toilet paper thickness, auto flush or not, hand dryers or paper towels, and whether the soap and such are kept well stocked. I will also look at the park bathrooms in Siouxland and let you know where the best vault toilets at local state parks are, and the best portapotties for local events.
But without further ado, here are the best public bathrooms in Sioux City as of April 1st, 2024:
- The Orpheum: these toilets are just so fancy! I mean, the toilets are regular toilets, but nice clean ones. But the bathrooms are art deco masterpieces, brilliantly restored, like the rest of the Orpheum, and you will feel so fancy doing what you need to do.
- The Sioux City Art Center: the bathrooms at the Sioux City Art Center are always exceptionally clean, well lit, and spacious. And frankly, there's usually not many other people in them unless you go at a super busy time.
- Miracle Field: the bathrooms at Miracle Field really shine because of their inclusivity. The have features like large size changing tables and charging stations right outside for wheelchairs or other powered mobility aids.
- LaunchPad Children's Museum: these kid-friendly bathrooms are at one of Sioux City's funnest places. What's not to love?
- Art SUX: admire the artwork in the quirkiest bathroom in Siouxland for sure, elaborately painted with colorful pop art and modern art throughout, making this a truly unique bathroom experience that you won't soon forget. Really a bathroom destination like no other.
