What is Disney on Ice?
Disney on Ice is a live production featuring favorite Disney characters and songs from different shows and movies, but instead of traditional dancing, almost the entire production is performed on ice skates by some amazingly talented skaters.
Here's a look at 40 years of Disney on Ice. The hairstyles have changed, and the caliber of skating has stayed excellent!
The specific show coming to Sioux Falls this December is called Let's Celebrate and does exactly that: celebrates some of the most beloved Disney characters, songs, and movies ever. Disney on Ice Let's Celebrate stars Mickey, Minnie and their friends, plus characters like Olaf from Frozen, Forky and Bo Peep from Toy Story 4, Timon and Pumba from The Lion King, Eric & Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and many more. There are actually about 50 characters and 30 songs from more than a dozen different Disney stories all included in Let's Celebrate!
